Mission Statement
To enhance the University of Texas at Dallas staff with a certificate program that promotes in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.
Goals
- Create Users that demonstrate proficiencies in multiple areas of procurement management: purchasing, One Card, travel, accounts payable
- Create departmental procurement team leads
- Help to establish a career development plan for departments
Delivery Method
- Instructor-led classes: lecture and practice
- Presentations by Subject-Matter Experts
- Capstone Test
Classes
- Classes are generally scheduled every other Tuesday (unless otherwise noted), from 2 to 4 p.m.
- Classes begin on Tuesday, July 29
- Sessions will be held remotely via Teams
- Procurement University Certificate will be presented at a Graduation Ceremony upon attending all sessions and passing the final assessment
