Procurement University

Mission Statement

To enhance the University of Texas at Dallas staff with a certificate program that promotes in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.

Goals

  • Create Users that demonstrate proficiencies in multiple areas of procurement management: purchasing, One Card, travel, accounts payable
  • Create departmental procurement team leads
  • Help to establish a career development plan for departments

Delivery Method

  • Instructor-led classes: lecture and practice
  • Presentations by Subject-Matter Experts
  • Capstone Test

Classes

  • Classes are generally scheduled every other Tuesday (unless otherwise noted), from 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Classes begin on Tuesday, July 29            
  • Sessions will be held remotely via Teams
  • Procurement University Certificate will be presented at a Graduation Ceremony upon attending all sessions and passing the final assessment
