Video Highlights HUB, Small Business Vendors
Historically underutilized business (HUB) vendors shared information about their products and/or services at the 2025 HUB and Small Business Vendor Fair.
Departments are encouraged to use VetHUB suppliers whenever the VetHUB supplier can supply the goods or services at a competitive market price within the required time frame. Depending on the type of purchase, bids from VetHUB suppliers may be required:
Purchases less than $15,000
Place an order with a qualified VetHUB if feasible.
Informal Bid
(purchases between $15,000 and $50,000)
Obtain 3 quotes (required); make a good faith effort to secure at least 2 of these quotes from VetHUB suppliers
Formal Bid
(purchases over $50,000)
Purchasing conducts all Formal bids by submission of a Request for Formal Solicitation (RFS) Form and all suppliers are invited to bid as a standard process. Depending on the nature of the solicitation, all bidders may be required to complete a Subcontracting Plan Form (HSP) as part of their bid.
UT Dallas has built a custom roster of VetHUB Suppliers who do business within UTD’s geographic region. It is available via Power BI to anyone with a NetID and password.

Alternatively, purchasers and contractors can search the Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) for additional suppliers. UT System has a presentation that outlines how to use the CMBL, and the Small Business Office team is always available to help.
